Pretreatment and electrocoating

We create the optimal basis for your painting results. To this end, PENTANOVA provides cost-efficient high-end solutions for surface pre-treatment and KLT coating (KLT= cathodic dip painting).

We draw on the experience gained from a large number of implemented projects worldwide - from small add-on parts to large industrial chassis.

Surface pre-treatment and KTL coating from PENTANOVA

PENTANOVA is your reliable contact for surface pre-treatment and KTL coating in the Industrial Painting

Our experts develop the optimal pre-treatment process in combination with a cathodic dip coating. These are precisely tailored to your requirements.

Your workpieces are thus prepared in the best possible way for the further painting steps and remain protected against corrosion.

When developing the right solution for you and your company, we make sure that the energy-intensive pre-treatment process is implemented in the most resource-efficient way possible.

Dipping and spraying methods for pre-treatment

The choice of the right pre-treatment method depends above all on the nature of the workpiece. There are two useful forms of treatment in the so-called pickling and phosphating phases

Generally, the spraying process is used for surface pre-treatment during pickling or phosphating. The corresponding liquids for pre-treatment are applied with the help of spray nozzles.

The pre-treatment of large parts with internal or hollow spaces is usually carried out in the pickling and phosphating phase using the immersion process. In this way, the interior areas can also be reached and treated accordingly.

A few main areas of dip treatment are for example automotive parts, agricultural machinery, household appliances, metal furniture, construction machinery and welded structures.

We have specialists for every area of application. PENTANOVA is your contact to answer all your questions about the introduction of your new pre-treatment plant.

CO2 cleaning: Dry cleaning for better adhesion

We recommend CO2 cleaning for the surface treatment of plastic parts.   With this process, surface contamination is removed without leaving any residue. You therefore do not need a drying oven for the pre-treatment and the associated cooling is also not required.   Your advantage of a CO2 purification system:
  • Requires comparatively little space
  • Application in almost all industries
  • Removes a wide variety of soiling (such as grease, oil, adhesive residues, soot, thin layers of paint and many more)
  • Versatile system: manual or automatic, with the use of robot cells [Link to subpage]
Our engineers work with you to develop the best solution for your requirements. Depending on the complexity and type of painting part and the time required to complete it. We take all your specifications into account.

Flaming: For better painting results on plastic parts

Flame treatment is a process for activating the surface of plastic parts.

This breaks up the surface molecules to ensure an effective bond between the coating (paints, varnishes, primers, etc.) and the substrate.

This results in a better painting result of your parts. Ask our engineers for the right solution for your painting system.

High pressure cleaning for cleaning plastic parts

High-pressure cleaning is often used for the pre-treatment of plastic parts.

PENTANOVA [link to home page] dimensions the systems entirely according to your specifications and requirements.

Thanks to our flexible way of working, we can supply you with a high-quality plant with high performance. For you, this means concretely: saving operating costs and creating a better end product.

Electro-dip coating: KTL coating

In electrocoating, the coating pieces are immersed in an electrically conductive bath.

The technology behind this consists of a dipping application through which an electric current is passed. The surface of the piece to be coated must be made of an electrically conductive material. With this process, coatings can be applied to the outside and inside of parts.

Your advantages with electrocoating:

We develop your automated and reliable process for electrocoating. We place particular emphasis on low maintenance and labour costs during operation.
